Master plan design and implementation of a town for 1500 permanent inhabitants, design and construction of all permanent buildings including residential sector, town center complex organized around an interior skylit concourse, including hotel, shopping mall, secondary school, entertainment and sports facilities, administrative buildings, community hospital, enclosed hockey arena.

A major design constraint resulted from the distances that building materials had to be transported overland or flown into the site. Wood construction and exterior cladding and detailing provided an economical response as well as our expression in natural materials which lives well in this particular northern landscape.
