The
water at one's doorstep. A steep, north-sloping site. Planned
over one and a half stories, it is conceived as a secondary
residence able to evolve into a principal residence. The interior
space enjoys a magnificent view over the lake, extending to the exterior
with a terrace and sheltered porch. Natural materials such as metal,
wood and bamboo. Natural light fully optimised. A mural of cut-out
plywood, created by the owner Meredith Mozer, defines the interior
space. At the front entry porch, an abstracted female form, also in
plywood, holds the roof and welcomes visitors. |
